Dorsa Ahari, collage artist based in Berlin

Dorsa is a multidisciplinary artist based in Berlin, working primarily with collage. What began as a personal journal of her inner world has grown into a practice exploring the deep ties between mind, soul, and the world around us.

Using found and recycled materials- magazines, papers, mirrors, foils, dried flowers- she gives new life to discarded fragments. Sustainability runs through her process: by reimagining what has been overlooked, she uncovers the beauty in imperfection, change, and transformation.

With a background in software engineering and years of experience as a strategist, Dorsa brings an analytical eye and structured process to collage. This background shapes the way she approaches collage, with an analytical eye and a structured process, yet her art allows her to step into the more soulful, intuitive dimensions of human experience that technology often misses.

Her work is deeply influenced by the diverse cultures and places that have shaped her life, from the vibrant streets of Tehran to the bustling metropolises of London and Berlin. These experiences have given her a global perspective, yet her art always returns to the universal: cycles of change, the resilience of the human spirit, and the quiet dialogue between inner and outer worlds.

Through her collages, Dorsa invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with their own journeys - a reminder that even in times of struggle, transformation carries its own beauty.
